Approach
The Work From Home Hub is designed to be a trusted, inspiring resource for remote workers, freelancers, and businesses managing distributed teams. The branding approach needed to balance professionalism, warmth, and accessibility, ensuring users feel supported and empowered. Research into the evolving remote work landscape shaped a design that is both structured and inviting, encouraging productivity while fostering a sense of connection.
Challenges
Creating a brand identity that is both credible and engaging was a key challenge. The design needed to reflect the flexibility and independence of remote work while maintaining a cohesive and professional aesthetic. The platform also had to feel inclusive and accessible, ensuring users from different backgrounds and industries could easily navigate and benefit from its resources.
Concept and Inspiration
The brand draws inspiration from the modern remote workforce, where efficiency and creativity go hand in hand. The typography reflects this duality, with Reckless adding a refined editorial feel and Poppins providing clarity and digital accessibility. A warm grey palette forms the foundation, complemented by earthy accents of terracotta, mustard, and muted teal to evoke warmth, motivation, and focus. The design is structured yet inviting, mirroring the balance between productivity and flexibility in remote work.
Design Execution
The visual identity is clean, structured, and approachable:
Typography: A combination of Reckless and Poppins ensures a professional yet friendly tone.
Colour Palette: Warm greys create a neutral, calming base, supporting contrasting colours to prop up and make the brand grow organically.
Layout & UI: A minimalist yet functional design makes navigation seamless, ensuring content is easy to find and digest.
Imagery: Using Atipo’s Workland illustration collection, the brand embraces a fresh, distinctive, and playful tone while maintaining professionalism. These illustrations add personality, breaking away from traditional corporate visuals and reinforcing the brand’s approachable, modern identity.
